Project Engineer

Counsilman-Hunsaker is currently in the market to add a career-minded design professional to our expanding team. This individual would be involved in the design process which includes construction documents, specifications, submittals, and site observation.

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical or structural engineering as well as landscape or architectural design would be ideal candidates. Applicants should also have working knowledge of AutoCad, Revit, Word, Excel and Power Point.

Aquatic Coordinator

The City of Marion has an opening for an Aquatic Coordinator at the HUB Recreational Center.

This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the HUB General Manager. A bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Physical Education or other related field, plus one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required with certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Instruction, Water Safety Instruction, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid (or passage of the above within three months of hire). AFO/CPO certified and Certified Parks and Recreation Professional preferred. Knowledge of pool maintenance, and experience in supervision of staff required. Excellent communication and computer skills needed for public speaking and correspondence. Must be available to work days, nights and weekends. Physical demands are representative of those required to perform essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to meet these demands.
