Rock’N River Family Aquatic CenterRound Rock, TX
In 2003, the team of Counsilman-Hunsaker and Kimley Horn & Associates was retained by the Parks and Recreation Department of Round Rock to perform a Feasibility Study. The study evaluated options for developing a new outdoor aquatic center in Old Settler’s Park. Each approach was analyzed for the required scope of work, programming benefits, and project costs.
Based on the analysis of the Feasibility Study, the community voted to build a new outdoor aquatic center, which was completed in June 2006.
The resulting 8,235 sq. ft. aquatic center features the latest in innovation and technology.
